A Los Angeles based filmmaker and educator.

Mira writes and directs narrative films that tell stories about moments in which individual identity and societal norms conflict. Her work has won awards at various festivals (primarily for storytelling) and her 2017 short film BAD THINGS is currently streaming on IndieFlix as well as being used as a teaching tool in corporate inclusivity trainings put together by Seed&Spark. As an editor Mira focuses on nonfiction and documentary projects. She's also an Assistant Professor of Practice in the department of Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas and Director of the UTLA 'Semester in Los Angeles' program.
